Curry on Nye:
"We are so happy Aaliyah will be joining our women's basketball family. She has proven she is an established shooter and scorer at this level. We think her experience, combined with her versatility and production, will benefit our team right away. Not to mention, her work ethic on the court, but also in the classroom, will make her a perfect fit in our program. Welcome to Alabama, Aaliyah!"
