
Alabama’s Mohamed Farouk Qualifies for NCAA Championships in Third Diving Event

Already qualified in the 1-meter and 3-meter springboards, the Crimson Tide rookie added the platform to his NCAA Championships agenda
ATLANTA, Ga. – Alabama's Mohamed Farouk earned another berth to the Men's NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on the final day of the NCAA Zone B Championships on Wednesday, which were held at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Ga., on the Georgia Tech campus this week.
Already qualified in the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard events, the Crimson Tide rookie added the platform to his NCAA Championships agenda after finishing sixth with 741.65 points across 12 dives.
Kevin Li earned an invitation to the NCAA Championships for the third-consecutive year and will compete off the 1-meter springboard. This season marks the first time since 2016, the last time the NCAA Championships were held in Atlanta, that Alabama has qualified two divers for men's NCAAs.
Tanesha Lucoe qualified off the platform on Tuesday to earn a berth at the Women's NCAA Championships for the third year in a row.
