
Four Alabama Gymnasts Earn SEC Honors

Shania Adams, Luisa Blanco and Makarri Doggette earned All-SEC recognition while Lilly Hudson was named to the SEC All-Freshman team
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – A total of four Alabama gymnasts earned Southeastern Conference accolades following last week's SEC Championships in Birmingham, Ala., the league office announced Wednesday.
Shania Adams, Luisa Blanco and Makarri Doggette all earned All-SEC honors for the second year in a row, while rookie Lilly Hudson was named to the SEC All-Freshman team.
As a team, the Crimson Tide posted its 31st top-two finish at the SEC Championships, taking second with a score of 197.825. Alabama remains the only school in league history to never finish outside the top four at the SEC Championships.
Alabama's season continues March 30-April 2 at the NCAA Seattle Regional Championships on the University of Washington campus.
