
Alabama Gymnastics Signs Outstanding Trio

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama inked three gymnasts for next year's freshman class, Crimson Tide head coach Ashley Johnston announced Wednesday.
The standout trio of Chloe LaCoursiere, Gabby Ladanyi and Jamison Sears are set to join the Crimson Tide next fall.
Alabama Head Coach Ashley Johnston Said
"We're extremely pleased to have this outstanding class join us at Alabama. Chloe, Gabby and Jamison are all tremendous gymnasts and dedicated students, but most importantly they are all extraordinary people. We're excited to continue building the relationships that started during the recruiting process and we know that they will each make a positive impact in the gym, but also as members of our Crimson Tide gymnastics family."
Chloe LaCoursiere
5-4 | San Diego, Calif. | Coastal Gymnastics Academy
Chloe LaCoursiere Said: "As soon as I started talking to the coaching staff, it felt like family. They truly wanted me on the team and told me I would have another family even if I was over a thousand miles from home. When I stepped on campus, they showed me that would be the case. Freshmen to super seniors treated one another like they had known each other forever."

- Competes for Ellie Gerber and Ryan Lipinski at the Coastal Gymnastics Academy
- 2022 USA Gymnastics Developmental National Team Member
- 2022 USA Gymnastics Development Program national champion in the all around, vault and uneven bars as well as taking third on the floor exercise
- 2021 Development Program National Uneven Bar Champion
- 2022 Regional Champion on the uneven bars and floor exercise and runner-up in the all around
- Runner-up on the uneven bars at the 2021 Nastia Liukin Cup
- Slated to graduate from Mount Carmel High School in May
Gabby Ladanyi

Gabby Ladanyi Said: "Alabama has been my dream school for as long as I can remember. I also really love the coaches and the team environment."

- 2022 USA Gymnastics Development Program uneven bars national champion
- 2022 USA Gymnastics Region 3 uneven bars champion
- 2022 Texas State all-around, vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise champion
- Slated to graduate from Connections Academy in May
Jamison Sears
4-11 | Yorktown, Va. | World Class Gymnastics
Jamison Sears Said: "I have always wanted to be in the SEC, and as soon as I stepped on the Alabama campus it instantly felt like home and the people felt like family."
- The daughter of Heather Froneberger and Steve Sears
- Competes for Tami Harrison and Rex Harrison at World Class Gymnastics
- 2022 USA Gymnastics Development Program National Champion on the balance beam and floor exercise
- 2022 Nastia Liukin Cup all-around and balance beam champion
- Competed in the 2019 U.S. Gymnastics Championships
- 2019 USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic National Champion on the balance beam and floor exercise and runner-up in the all-around
- Slated to graduate from Tabb High School in May
