From Head Coach Patrick Murphy
"I really liked the baserunning this fall. We have a lot of good team speed in people like Larissa Preuitt and Kristen White. Kali Heivilin was great on the basepaths. Our team defense will be really good. We have some great athletes everywhere; that will be a big key. Players like Lauren Esman who can pitch but can also play first base or outfield and we won't miss a beat with her out there.
"The next two weeks is individuals and weights and then they'll have Thanksgiving week off and then dead week and finals and then they'll be home for winter break. We're looking forward to working on some little things with everyone over the next two weeks and then we'll give them a plan for winter to let them work on some things before we come back in January."
