Alabama Gymnastics Releases 2023 Schedule

The Crimson Tide’s regular-season slate includes five home meets, four road contests and neutral-site quad meet
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama gymnastics released its 2023 competition schedule Thursday, a slate that includes five home meets, four road contests and a neutral-site quad meet.
The Crimson Tide opens an exciting home schedule and the 2023 season with Michigan State on Friday, Jan. 6, before welcoming a trio of Southeastern Conference foes to Coleman Coliseum in defending SEC Champion Florida (Jan. 20), in-state rival Auburn (Feb. 3) and LSU (Feb. 24). Alabama then closes its home slate and regular season on March 10 with Boise State.
Head coach Ashley Johnston and company open their away schedule on Jan. 13 at Arkansas, before traveling to Lexington, Ky., to take on Kentucky (Jan. 27). In the middle of the season, Alabama will take part in the Metroplex Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas, on Feb. 11,  facing off against defending NCAA Champion Oklahoma as well as Arkansas and Stanford. The meet will follow the postseason format and will take place on podium.
After the Metroplex meet, Alabama will face archrival Georgia in Athens on Feb. 17 and will conclude its regular-season road slate at Missouri on March 3.
The Tide's postseason begins March 18 in Duluth, Ga., with the SEC Championships. The NCAA Regional Championships will find Alabama seeded into one of four sites, Denver, Co., Norman, Okla., Pittsburgh, Pa., or Los Angeles, Calif. March 30-April 1.
The NCAA Championships will be in Fort Worth, Texas again this season at Dickie Arena, April 13-15.
In addition to its 2023 competitions, the Tide will host its annual Ghosts and Goblins Intrasquad Friday, Oct. 21 in its Coleman Coliseum practice gym and its Crimson and White Preview on Dec. 16 in the main arena.
Meet times and broadcast/streaming information for the 2023 season will be released by the Southeastern Conference at a later date.
