Alabama’s Taylor Kehoe Named SEC Women’s Golf Freshman of the Week

Kehoe led the Crimson Tide at The Ally, recording season-low marks on her way to a fifth-place finish
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – For the second consecutive week, an Alabama golfer has been named the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week as Taylor Kehoe earned the honor from the league office Wednesday. Kehoe, who follows last week's honoree Kynadie Adams, led the Crimson Tide at The Ally earlier in the week, as she recorded season-low marks including a fifth-place finish.

- Kehoe shined throughout The Ally, as she tied for fifth overall with a 54-hole total of 1-over par 217 (72-74-71)
- Not only was it a season-best finish, but she also recorded personal best marks for 18 holes (71), 36 holes (146) and 54 holes in the event
- Kehoe led the field in par 3 scoring (-2, 2.83) and ranked in a tie for third in par 5 average (-2, 4.83)
- Kehoe's 38 pars were second-best in the field while her eight birdies matched Kynadie Adams for the most on the team
- The Strathroy, Ontario, native was the only golfer in the Tide's lineup to score par or better, doing so in the first (E, 72) and third (-1, 71) rounds
