Alabama Men's Tennis Secured Wins In Doubles On Second Day Of ITA Southern Regionals

The Crimson Tide had two doubles teams advance to the next round on Friday at the ITA Southern Regional Championships
TUSCALOOSA, Ala.– The Alabama men's tennis team ended day two with two doubles teams earning a win during Friday's competition at the ITA Southern Regional Championships at the Alabama Tennis Stadium.
Doubles Main Draw
- Joao Ferreira and Roan Jones took on Southern Miss' Taras Ignatiuk and Olimjon Nabiev in the round of 64
- The UA pair came out on top, 9-7, to earn a spot in the next round of events
- In his debut, Matias Ponce De Leon and doubles partner Enzo Aguiard recorded a win
- Ponce De Leon and Aquiard came out victorious over Carles Anton and Nicolas Simkin of Troy, 8-2, advancing to the next round at 9 a.m.
