
Alabama Women’s Golf Team Finishes Second Round at NCAA Championship

Emilie Øverås and Benedetta Moresco led the Crimson Tide through round two
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. –The Alabama women's golf team completed the second round of the NCAA Championship at the par-72, 6,307-yard Grayhawk Golf Club on Saturday.
Alabama (308-310/618) sits in 24th place after posting a team score of 22-over par 310. Stanford (291-278/569) continues to hold the lead after turning in a 10-under par 278 on day two. Individually, Rachel Heck of Stanford leads the way after posting a 5-under par 67.
Leading the Lineup
- Emilie Øverås carded three birdies to finish at 3-over par 75.
- Benedetta Moresco bounced back with two birdies to finish at 3-over par 75.
- Kenzie Wright finished her second round at 5-over par 77.
- Rounding out the group, Polly Mack shot an 11-over par 83 and Caroline Curtis shot a 15-over par 87 in round two.
