
Alabama Soccer Welcomes Three Transfers to 2021 Fall Roster

Goalkeeper Brooke Bollinger (Florida State) along with field players Ashlynn Serepca (Virginia) and Riley Tanner (South Carolina) will join the Crimson Tide on the pitch this fall
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama soccer announced the addition Brooke Bollinger (Florida State), Ashlynn Serepca (University of Virginia) and Riley Tanner (University of South Carolina) to its 2021 fall roster on Wednesday. The trio were all members of teams that advanced to this year's NCAA Tournament."We can't help but get excited thinking about the impact these three can have at Bama," head coach Wes Hart said. "In addition to being talented players, they all have experience. They've played for and contributed to conference championships and deep postseason runs the past three years
Brooke Bollinger
Melbourne, Fla. | Florida State | Goalkeeper
Bollinger helped lead the Seminoles to an NCAA and ACC title in 2018. Over the course of her three-year career, she played in 25 games allowing just nine goals and totaling 43 saves for a 16-4-2 career record. She allowed only two goals, both to a top-three nationally ranked team, in her first 952:06 minutes as a collegiate athlete. She went on to record 10 solo shutouts her freshman season, which ranked 11th nationally, to earn 2018 TopDrawerSoccer Freshman Best XI Second Team honors. Bollinger suffered a season-ending injury during the 2018 ACC championship game against North Carolina. She did not allow a goal to the Tar Heels before exiting the game in the 62nd minute. Florida State went on to win that game 3-2.
Ashlynn Serepca
Cornelius, N.C. | Virginia | Forward
A three-year member of the Cavalier soccer team, Serepca has seen action in 63 games. She scored eight goals for Virginia, including netting two game-winning goals, and recorded five assists for a total of 21 points. During the 2020-21 campaign, Serepca played in 19 games, recording an assist against Virginia Tech in the season opener and one against West Virginia. She helped the Cavaliers advance to the NCAA semifinals and competed in all five of the team's tournament games.
Riley Tanner
Caledonia, Mich. | South Carolina | Forward
Tanner became the first Gamecock to score in three consecutive NCAA Tournament games, finding the back of the net against Samford, Notre Dame and Kansas during the 2019 NCAA Championships. During her three years at South Carolina, she scored seven goals including three game-winners, and recorded three assists for 17 points. She played in 15 games this past season including both of South Carolina's NCAA Tournament games. Tanner is tied for second at USC in NCAA Tournament career goals with three and tied for fifth in NCAA Tournament career points with seven.
