
Alabama's Alba Cortina Pou Named to SEC Woman's Tennis Community Service Team for Second Time

The graduate student has been a standout for the Crimson Tide, leading her team in community service hours and Alabama Athletics' outreach efforts as part of the UA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Alabama's Alba Cortina Pou has been named to the Southeastern Conference Women's Tennis Community Service Team for the second time the league office announced Thursday.
Cortina Pou leads the Crimson Tide in community service hours and helps lead Alabama Athletics' outreach efforts as part of the UA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee's Executive Board.

- Alba Cortina Pou leads the Crimson Tide in community service hours and has twice been named to the SEC Women's Tennis Community Service Team
- She has given her time to several causes, including A Night to Remember, UA's annual Halloween Extravaganza and UA's Project Angel Tree
- Cortina Pou helps guide the Tide's community service efforts as a member of the Alabama Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, directing the athletics department's outreach for the community
