
Three Alabama Women’s Golfers Complete Play at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur

Benedetta Moresco, Kenzie Wright and Michaela Morard will play a practice round Friday at Augusta National.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Three members of the Alabama women's golf wrapped up competition at the 2021 Augusta National Women's Amateur on Thursday. Benedetta Moresco, Kenzie Wright and Michaela Morard missed the 36-hole cut, but will have the opportunity to play a practice round at Augusta National on Friday before their time in Augusta, Ga. concludes.
Moresco turned in a two-day score of 9-over par 253, missing the cut by two strokes. She shot 3-over par 75 in the first round followed by a 6-over par 78 in round two. Wright posted a 17-over par score of 161 over 36 holes while Morard tallied a 20-over par score 164.
All competitors will play a practice round at Augusta National on Friday before the top 30 compete for the Championship on Saturday, April 3. Fans will be able to follow Saturday's final round on NBC Sports from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. CT.
The Alabama women's golf team returns to action on April 6-7 at the LSU Tiger Golf Classic at The University Club in Baton Rouge, La. The tournament will consist of 36 holes Tuesday, April 6, with the final 18 scheduled for Wednesday.
