TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The defending Southeastern Conference champion Alabama gymnastics team will host its Crimson and White Preview Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Coleman Coliseum. Admission to the event is free.
The event will feature routines on all four events in a modified dual meet format, as well as gymnast interviews, tips on following gymnastics and the introduction of the 2022 Crimson Tide. This year's schedule poster, featuring the entire team, will also be available.
Like a regular-season meet, while the first vault is set for 6 p.m., fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 5:45 p.m., so that they can experience the team introductions and pre-meet festivities.
This year's squad is made up of 16 gymnasts, including 13 returners and three rookies. The Tide veterans include NCAA champions Luisa Blanco (balance beam) and Lexi Graber (floor exercise) as well as All-Americans Makarri Doggette and two-time Olympian Shallon Olsen. SEC uneven bars champion Shania Adams is also back along with First Team All-SEC vaulter Kaylee Quinn.
Other returners include Scholastic All-Americans Ella Burgess, Emily Gaskins, Griffin James, Cameron Machado, Isabella Martin, Sania Mitchell and Mati Waligora.
The UA newcomers are Corinne Bunagan (Ramsey, N.J.), Lilly Hudson (Fleming Island, Fla.) and Jordyn Paradise (Tampa, Fla.).
Season tickets are currently available through the Alabama Ticket Office (205.348.2262), located in the lobby of Coleman Coliseum, or online at RollTide.com.
