Alabama Gymnastics Honored with SEC Championship Rings in front of 100,000-fans Saturday

After winning the 2021 SEC title in Huntsville, Ala., last spring the Crimson Tide gymnastics, coaches and staff received their championship rings during the Alabama-Ole Miss football game
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -Â After winning the 2021 Southeastern Conference title last spring the Alabama gymnasts, coaches and staff received their championship rings Saturday afternoon in front of 100,000-plus fans during the UA-Ole Miss football game.
It was the Crimson Tide's 10th trip to midfield of Bryant-Denny Stadium to celebrate an SEC Championship.
NCAA and SEC Champions and All-Americans Lexi Graber and Luisa Blanco, All-American and SEC Champion Makarri Doggette, All-American Shallon Olsen and SEC Champion Shania Adams, along with Isabella Martin, Cameron Machado, Mati Waligora, Ella Burgess, Griffin James, Sania Mitchell, Jensie Givens, Kaylee Quinn, Emily Gaskins and Alonza Klopfer were all on hand to receive their championship rings.
Head coach Dana Duckworth, assistant coaches Bill Lorenz and Ryan Roberts and volunteer coach Oleksii Koltakov, and the Tide's support staff also took home championships rings.
Dr. James Robinson, who is retiring in January after 33 years as Crimson Tide Athletics' team doctor, was honored during Saturday's ring ceremony. Robinson began his career with the Crimson Tide with the gymnastics team as they won the 1988 NCAA and SEC Championships, the first in UA history.
