Head Coach George Husack on Samofalov
"From the moment we began our recruitment of German he showed us how focused and determined he is to become a great tennis player. He's young and has another season of international tournaments which will include the junior grand slams. This step up in competition and experience will translate very well to the start of his college career. He's a gamer and we're excited to have German and his family join our program."

Samofalov's "Why Alabama?"
"We had long, warm and informative conversations with George Husack and Dimitar Kutrovsky from which I understood that a real team spirit reigns in this team. In my opinion, Alabama has one of the best sport facilities that I have seen. I was impressed by the entire university infrastructure. It is a great honor for me to become a part of this team.
