Caroline Curtis, Angelica Moresco and Emilie Øverås recognized for academic excellence
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced the 2019-20 All-American Scholars Monday with Alabama standouts Caroline Curtis, Angelica Moresco and Emilie Øverås recognized to the prestigious honor.
This marks the third consecutive year in which Moresco has been recognized, meanwhile Curtis and Øverås claim the honor for the first time.
The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
Alabama has had 76 student-athletes named to the WGCA All-American Scholars list since the award's inception in 1985, including 46 since 2005 under head coach Mic Potter. The Crimson Tide has featured three or more All-American Scholar selections in each of the last 12 years.
