Crimson Tide led team in community service hours during the 2019-20 season
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama men's golfer Ben Fuller was named to the Southeastern Conference Community Service Team, the league office announced Wednesday.
A three-year letterwinner who serves on the executive board of Alabama's Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC), Fuller led the team in community service hours and continues to be involved in numerous activities in and around the Tuscaloosa community.
Fuller's long list of community involvement includes volunteering at the University of Alabama Special Olympics in which he served as a partner for athletes who needed extra attention. In addition, he participated in Tim Tebow's Foundation "A Night To Shine" which is a prom for high schoolers with special needs. On top of that, he has volunteered his time in numerous SAAC events such as Habitat for Humanity builds, Halloween Extravaganza and Angel Tree Project, among other things.
Despite his busy schedule of playing golf and his community service work, Fuller maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA as a finance major and has made the President's List in each semester he has been at the Capstone.
