Crimson Tide picked up two wins while 10 athletes posted personal bests on Saturday

LUBBOCK, Texas – Alabama track and field wrapped up the indoor regular season on Saturday evening at the Texas Tech Shootout and Vanderbilt Music City Invite. The Crimson Tide picked up two wins during the meet while ten UA student-athletes posted personal bests.

Senior Robert Dunning was victorious and put his name in good company in the Alabama record book, tying for the fifth-best men's 60m hurdles indoors time with a PR time of 7.64. Dunning broke his own personal best that he set earlier today in the first round. That time also puts him at second in the SEC and the No. 4 performer in the NCAA this season.

Texas Tech Shootout

Crimson Tide senior sprinters D'Jai Baker and Takyera Roberson put together another solid showing in the women's 400m. Baker (53.42) snubbed a runner-up finish and Roberson (53.55) followed right behind for third, both times marked personal bests.
In the women's pole vault open, junior Taylor Pickett cleared a collegiate-best 12-11 ½ (3.95m) to take home third.
Junior Tamara Clark finished runner-up in the women's 60m clocking in at 7.33.
Juniors Champion Allison and Joshua St. Clair hit the track for the men's 400m. Allison (47.48) claimed fourth and St. Clair (46.69) finished ninth.
The Alabama women's 4x400 relay team stole the rest of the night, clocking the fastest time of 3:31.78.

Vanderbilt Music City Invite

Junior shot putters Nickolette Dunbar and Cherisse Murray claimed top-five finishes in Nashville, Tenn. Dunbar topped out at 53'9.75" (16.40m) to set a meet record and Murray (50'5.25"/15.37m) placed fifth.
For the men, junior Isaac Odugbesan (63'8.75"/19.42m) finished runner-up and sophomore Chago Basso (59'11.75"/18.28m) placed fourth in shot put.
In the one-mile run, Alabama found two top-10 finishes and collegiate bests. Freshman Grady Shiflet (4:13.95) placed seventh in the men's division, while fellow freshman distance runner Amaris Tyynismaa (4:47.37) finished ninth for the women.
