Alabama Men’s Tennis Continue Strong Showing at Four-In-The-Fall Tournament

The Crimson Tide won seven singles matches for the second day in a row and added three doubles victories
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's tennis team continued its winning ways on day two of the Four-In-The-Fall tournament being held in Tuscaloosa this weekend, winning seven singles matches for the second day in a row to go with three doubles victories on the day. In addition to the Crimson Tide, the tournament features players from LSU and Vanderbilt in both singles and doubles competition.
In all, Alabama has won 22 matches over the first two days of the event, including 14 singles matches and eight doubles.
Zhe Zhou, Riccardo Roberto, Vincent Rettke, Jeremy Gschwendtner, Gabriel Diaz Freire, Alexey Nesterov and Sam Fischer all notched singles wins Saturday, while Fischer and Nesterov, Rettke and Sepulveda Garza along with Gschwendtner and Avi Shugar came away with doubles victories.
