No. 9 Alabama Gymnastics Hosts No. 1 Oklahoma Friday for Capes and Crowns Night

There will be cape and crown giveaways while supplies last and fans can take pictures with superheroes and princesses on the concourse prior to the meet
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – This Friday at 7:45 p.m., the No. 9 Alabama gymnastics team will take on defending national champion and current No. 1 Oklahoma.
In addition to being the Crimson Tide's 2020 home opener, Friday will be also be Capes and Crowns night in Coleman Coliseum. Fans are encouraged to grab their tiaras, crowns and superhero costumes and join the fun. Fans can also take pictures with their favorite superheroes and princesses on the concourse prior to the meet. Doors open at 6 p.m. and there will be cape and crown giveaways while supplies last.
Tickets are available online at RollTide.com as well as through the Alabama Ticket Office (205.348.2262) located in the lobby of Coleman Coliseum.
For the Crimson Tide, senior Maddie Desch, junior Lexi Graber, and freshman Luisa Blanco all posted 9.900s in the season opener last Friday to help lead the team, while rookie Makarri Doggette added a 9.875 on the uneven bars in her first routine for the Crimson Tide.
The Sooners come to town sporting the nation's best average and highest meet score. Friday's meet will be their third road contest of the young season.
