Alabama Softball to Hold Walk-On Tryouts

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama softball will hold walk-on tryouts Monday, Sept. 16 at 6 p.m. CT at Rhoads Stadium for currently-enrolled UA students.
Participants must be full-time students at The University of Alabama (currently be enrolled in at least 12 credits this fall) and have remaining NCAA Eligibility.
In order to try out, participants must contact assistant coach Brynne Dordel (bdordel@ia.ua.edu) to set up a time to pick up the tryout packet and complete all parts of the packet. Anyone interested in participating should inquire as soon as possible as completing the tryout packet will require completion of a physical, Sickle Cell test results and meeting with compliance regarding eligibility, as well as other items. The tryout approval form must be completed and returned to the Alabama Athletics Compliance Office for approval by 5 p.m. CT on September 13. If all items are not completed by this date, the student will not be permitted to try out.
