Kaukovalta and Zhou Win Again in Doubles at Milwaukee Tennis Classic

MILWAUKEE, Wisc. – Junior Patrick Kaukovalta and senior Zhe Zhou picked up another doubles victory in the second day of the Milwaukee Tennis Classic in Milwaukee, Wisc., on Friday. Kaukovalta also won his two consolation singles matches.
Round-by-Round
- Kaukovalta and Zhou battled moved to 2-0 in doubles, after defeating Izquierdo Luque/Rocens of NC State, 8-4, to advance to the quarterfinals.
- No. 12 seed Kaukovalta cruised to a singles win over William Howells of Notre Dame, 6-4, 6-1, before winning again, versus Brett Meyers of Marquette, 6-2, 6-4,
- Zhou struggled in singles, falling in his match against Mackey Rakotomalala from Arizona State, 7-5, 6-3.

- Doubles play will continue tomorrow with the duo taking on No. 26 Ruehl/Bolla of Arizona State with a chance to go to the semifinals. Singles consolations will also continue on Sunday.
