Alabama Men’s Tennis Comes in at No. 21 in Newest Oracle/ITA National Rankings

The Crimson Tide looks ahead to the 2019 SEC Men’s Tennis Championships
TEMPE, Ariz. – The Alabama men's tennis team came in at No. 21 in the country in the latest Oracle/ITA Rankings released on Tuesday. Senior Mazen Osama and sophomore Patrick Kaukovalta also moved up to No. 13 in doubles and Osama climbed six spots to No. 46 in singles.
Last time out, the Crimson Tide (15-9, 5-7 SEC) bested No. 47 Arkansas, 4-0, on Thursday night to close out its regular season. Osama earned a 6-4, 6-2, victory against No. 65 Oscar Mesquida, while he and Kaukovalta improved to 13-7 on the season after their 6-1 doubles win over No. 53 Mesquida/Sanjurjo.
Next up, the Crimson Tide will take on No. 26 Ole Miss at 2 p.m. CT on Thursday, April 18 in the second round of the 2019 Men's Tennis Championships in Gainesville, Fla. A live stream and live scoring of Thursday's match can be found on GoGators.com
