
Alabama Set for 2019 SEC Men’s Tennis Championships

The Crimson Tide will take on No. 8 seed Ole Miss in the second round on Thursday, April 18 at 2 p.m. CT
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The 20th-ranked Alabama men's tennis team earned a No. 9 seed in the upcoming 2019 Southeastern Conference Men's Tennis Championships and will take on No. 8 seed Ole Miss in the second round on Thursday, April 18 at 2 p.m. CT in Gainesville, Fla.
The Crimson Tide finished the regular season with a 15-9 record including a 5-7 mark in SEC play, while the 33rd-ranked Rebels were 16-11 overall and 5-7 in league competition. This will be the third time this season the two sides have matched up against one another with Ole Miss winning 4-2 on Feb. 22 at the Blue-Gray National Tennis Classic and then again in Tuscaloosa, 4-3, on March 16.
The winner of Thursday's match will advance to take on No. 1 seed and host, Florida on Friday, April 19 at 2 p.m. CT. All matches will have live scoring and a live stream on FloridaGators.com.
