Alabama Track and Field Women No. 13 and Men No. 14 in the National Indoor Rankings

The Crimson Tide men and women continue to figure in the top-15 in the NCAA Division I Track & Field National Rating Index
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama track and field women are No. 13 and the men are No. 14 in the latest NCAA Division I Track & Field National Rating Index the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Monday.
The Crimson Tide women and men have been fixtures in the top-15 since the preseason rankings came out.
The women's squad is led by sophomore Tamara Clark who is ranked sixth in the 200 meters after posting a 23.07 last weekend. She also ranks eighth in the 60 meters. Junior Shelby McEwen, ranked No. 1 nationally in the high jump with a season-best leap of 7-7 (2.31m), continues to lead the men's team. His mark, a personal best, is just three quarters of an inch off the school and Southeastern Conference records.
Alabama closed out its regular season with a trio of meets last weekend, posting strong performance at the Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa, the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., and the Alex Wilson Invitational in South Bend, Ind.
