Alabama Gymnastics to Hold Annual Ghosts and Goblins Intrasquad Tuesday

The Crimson Tide’s annual Halloween-themed intrasquad will get underway at 4:30 p.m. CT in the Frances Smith Practice Facility at Coleman Coliseum
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama gymnastics team will host its annual Ghosts and Goblins Intrasquad Tuesday, Oct. 29 at the Frances Smith Practice Facility in Coleman Coliseum.
Fans will be admitted to Coleman Coliseum at the southeast corner (the UA Law School side of the Coliseum) starting at 4 p.m. CT and the competition gets underway at 4:30 p.m. The event is slated to last about an hour and seats are limited.
The annual intrasquad gives the current Crimson Tide squad a chance to compete in front of a crowd for the first time this year and gives fans a first look at this year's freshmen and a peek what the Tide's returnees are working on for the coming season.
The Ghosts are looking for their fourth title in a row and sixth in the past 16 years, while the Goblins are looking for their 11th title over the same span. Returning All-SEC performers seniors Maddie Desch and Shea Mahoney along with junior Lexi Graber will be action and the Tide's four freshmen – Emma Desantis, Makarri Doggette, Macy Orosco and Mati Waligora – will be introduced.
The intrasquad will be followed by The Medalist Club's (the gymnastics team's booster organization) Kick Off Party, which will be held in the men's basketball practice gym starting at 6:30 p.m., where fans will have the opportunity to meet the gymnasts and the coaching staff.
