Alabama Holds First Official Practice of 2018-19 Season on Wednesday

The Crimson Tide opens its regular season on Wednesday, Nov. 7 vs. SE Louisiana
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama women's basketball held its first official practice of the 2018-19 season on Wednesday morning at Foster Auditorium. Practices will continue in preparation for the Crimson Tide's season opener against Southeastern Louisiana on Wednesday, Nov. 7 inside Coleman Coliseum.
"Today went great," said head coach Kristy Curry, who is entering her sixth season at Alabama. "Going from our summer workouts and then our fall workouts we felt like it eased the transition with a lot of new faces on our team. I thought today went well and it's really good for us to officially get going."
The first chance to see the 2018-19 squad will be at the fourth annual SupeStore Tide Tipoff event, which will be held on Monday, Oct. 15. Doors open at 6 p.m. for autographs, and the event will follow at 7 p.m.
The Crimson Tide will also play two exhibition games, first against Faulkner University on Oct. 21 at 3 p.m. and then versus Mississippi College on Nov. 1 at 7 p.m., before opening its regular season slate.
Season tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased here or by calling 1-877-TIDETIX (843-3849). Fans can also purchase tickets in advance at the Alabama Ticket Office, located in the lobby of Coleman Coliseum. Single game tickets will go on sale Monday, Oct. 22.
