Alabama Men Remain No. 1 in the Latest USTFCCCA South Region Rankings

The Crimson Tide men and women will be in action at the Nuttycombe Invitational on Friday
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's cross country team stays at No. 1 this week in the latest United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association South Region rankings released Monday by the USTFCCCA.
The Tide men are joined by Ole Miss (2), Tennessee (5), Florida (11) and Georgia (13) as one of five Southeastern Conference schools in this week's regional top 15.
The Crimson Tide women remain at No. 10 in the women's South Region rankings this week. The Tide women are joined this week's rankings by SEC rivals Ole Miss (1), Georgia (3) Mississippi State (5), Tennessee (6), Vanderbilt (7), Auburn (11) and Florida (12).
The Alabama men and women return to action this week at the University of Wisconsin's Nuttycombe Invitational on Friday, Sept. 28 in Madison Wis. The meet will be one of the deepest of the regular season with 18 men's and 15 women's teams currently ranked in the top 30 scheduled to participate.
