Former Alabama Women’s Basketball Player Quanetria Bolton Inks Professional Contract in Portugal

Bolton played for the Crimson Tide from 2014-18 and will sign with Benfica Lisbon
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Another former Alabama women's basketball player has signed a professional contract as Quanetria Bolton becomes the third to do so since the end of the 2018 season. Bolton signed with Benfica Lisbon, a professional team located in Lisbon, Portugal earlier today.
"I'm excited for this new opportunity and grateful to be able to continue my basketball career," said Bolton. "Lisbon, Portugal is beautiful and I can't wait to get to work with my new teammates."
Bolton finished her career tied for sixth all-time in Alabama history in games play with 127 and fifth in all-time blocks with 124 throughout her four years at The Capstone. Bolton was also named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll all four seasons and participated in the "So You Want To Be A Coach" program during her senior campaign. The Anniston, Ala., native ended her time with the Tide averaging 7.4 points and four rebounds per game, while recording three double-doubles.
