Guarachi and Routliffe Move on to Semifinals of Citi Open

The duo advanced to the semifinals via a walkover against Chirico/Kiick
WASHINGTON – Former Alabama stars Alexa Guarachi and Erin Routliffe moved on to the semifinals of the Citi Open after winning over Louisa Chirico (USA) and Allie Kiick (USA) via a walkover on Wednesday in Washington, D.C.
The No. 4-seed tandem in the tournament will take on against Kristie Ahn (USA) and Lauren Davis (USA) on Friday with the time to be announced.
The duo previously advanced to the quarterfinals of the event after defeating Prarthana Thombare (India) and Harriet Dart (UK), 7-6(3), 7-5, on Tuesday night.
