
Former Alabama Standouts Alexa Guarachi and Erin Routliffe Fall in Main Draw of Wimbledon

The two fell to the No. 3 seed in Katerina Siniakova and Barbora Krejcikova
LONDON – Former Alabama standouts Alexa Guarachi and Erin Routliffe fell to the No. 3-seeded duo in Wimbledon in Czech Republic's Katerina Siniakova and Barbora Krejcikova, 2-6, 6-2, 2-6, in the round of 64 on Thursday morning.
Guarachi and Routliffe played their way into the main draw with a pair of qualifying wins last week. They defeated Priscilla Hon (AUS) and Arantxa Rus (NED) in the first round, 6-3, 7-5, before knocking off Anna Kalinskaya (RUS) and Viktoria Kuzmova (SVK), 6-4, 6-4, to advance.
