Alabama Men’s Track & Field Remains No. 3, Women Hold Steady at No. 17 in Week 6 USTFCCCA National Rankings

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's track & field team remains No. 3, and the Crimson Tide women stayed at No. 17 in the latest U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) outdoor rankings released Monday.
Florida tops the men's rankings with a rating of 295.53, followed by Texas Tech (270.45) and the Crimson Tide (218.54). Houston (214.51) and Texas A&M (214.34) round out the top five. Other Southeastern Conference teams in the top-25 are No. 6 Georgia (201.93), No. 8 Arkansas (167.91), No. 12 LSU (134.96), No. 13 Kentucky (125.46) and No. 20 Mississippi State (92.37).
LSU (324.07) is No. 1 in the women's rankings this week, followed by Oregon (276.19), USC (259.30), Arkansas 250.39) and Kentucky (274.23) in the top five. Other ranked SEC teams in addition to the 17th-ranked Tide (96.30) include No. 6 Georgia (245.55), No. 8 Texas A&M (217.83), No. 9 Florida (205.96), No. 15 Tennessee (117.12), No. 18 Missouri (94.79) and No. 23 Ole Miss (80.99).
Alabama will be in action this weekend at the 2018 SEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, May 11-13, in Knoxville, Tenn.
