Alabama Beats Oregon State, 6-0

TUSCALOOSA, Ala.  – The Alabama Crimson Tide beat the Oregon State Beavers, 6-0, to win the 2018 NCAA Softball Tuscaloosa Regional in Rhoads Stadium Sunday. With the victory, the Crimson Tide advances to next week's NCAA Super Regional to face the winner of the ongoing Seattle Regional.
Alabama jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning before adding two runs each in the fifth and sixth innings to come away with the win.
Senior Alexis Osorio took the win for the Tide, going to 15-9 on the season and 7-0 in regional play over the course of her Alabama career. Meehra Nelson ended her season with a 16-11 record.
With the win, Alabama remains the only team to advance to every NCAA Super Regional since the format's inception in 2005.
