Alabama Men’s Track & Field Holds Steady No. 8, Women Up to No. 18 in Week 3 USTFCCCA National Rankings

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's track & field team remains No. 8, while the Crimson Tide women moved up four spots to No. 18 in the latest U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) outdoor rankings released Monday.
Alabama turned in several top-10 national marks at the Tom Jones Invitational in Gainesville, Fla., last weekend. Senior Ruebin Walters and junior Keitavious Walter posted the No. 2 and No. 7 national times the 110-meter hurdles and 100 meters, respectively, for the Crimson Tide men.
The Tide women's 4x100-meter relay ran the sixth-fastest relay of the season while freshman Tamara Clark and junior Portious Warren now rank fourth and ninth in the 200 meters and shot put, respectively, following their performances over the weekend.
Alabama will split its squad this weekend, sending its distance contingent to Stanford University for the Cardinal Classic in Palo Alto, Calif., while the remainder of the team will compete at Auburn's War Eagle Invitational. Both meets will take place April 20-21.
