No. 37 Alabama Men’s Tennis Featured in Latest Oracle/ITA Team, Singles and Doubles Rankings

The Crimson Tide is ranked No. 37 in the country in the latest team rankings
TEMPE, Ariz. – The Alabama men's tennis team comes in ranked No. 37 in the country according to the computerized Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Men's Division I Team Rankings on Tuesday, as announced by the association.
Junior Mazen Osama moved up to No. 92 in the latest singles rankings, the Cairo, Egypt native, is 7-2 overall while going 2-2 against nationally ranked opponents in 2018. The duo of Osama and sophomore Edson Ortiz also moved up to the No. 31 doubles tandem in the nation after compiling an 11-1 record in the No. 1 doubles spot. Also, the sophomore pair of Thibault Cancel and Alexey Nesterov fell a few spots to No. 46 in the doubles rankings after earning an 8-2 record so far in 2018.
Alabama men's tennis jumped up seven spots from last week's team rankings and will be back in action to take on LSU in Baton Rouge, La., on Friday at 4 p.m. CT.
