Alexey Nesterov Picks Up a Win at USTA $25k Futures

Mazen Osama falls in the second round qualifier
NORMAN, Okla. – Junior Alexey Nesterov moves past Emile Hudd, while senior Mazen Osama falls to Uros Petronijevic in the second round qualifier of the USTA $25k Futures on Monday, Nov. 12, at the Oklahoma University Gregg Wadley Tennis Pavilion in Norman, Okla.
Nesterov battled back to defeat Hudd, 6-4, 4-6, 6-3. On the other side of the draw, Osama fell short to Petronijevic, 6-3, 6-4.
With today's win, Nesterov moves on to the final qualifying round. The Moscow, Russia native, is set to take on Alessandro Ventre tomorrow at 9 a.m. CT.
