The sophomore dropped his match to No. 6 seed Justin Butsch on Thursday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Sophomore Riccardo Roberto fell in the Round of 16 against No. 6 seed Justin Butsch, 6-1, 4-1, ret., at the USTA $15k Futures tournament on Thursday.

Roberto impressed throughout the tournament by winning three matches in the qualifying round and one in the main draw before Thursday's loss.

Next up for Alabama men's tennis is the CCB Collegiate Invitational in Birmingham, Ala., beginning tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. CT.
