Alexey Nesterov and Zhe Zhou Both Advance in Qualifying Round of $25k USTA Futures Tournament in Houston

The two will continue singles play tomorrow at 10 a.m. CT

HOUSTON – Juniors Zhe Zhou and Alexey Nesterov both advanced in the first round of qualifying for the USTA $25k Futures at the George R. Brown Center in Houston, Texas.

No. 16 seed Zhou moved past Yuvgeniy Korelov, 7-6(3), 6-3, and will take on Conner McMann on Sunday morning. Nesterov came from behind to defeat No. 14 seed Garrett Johns, 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 and he will play against Aleksandar Kovacevic tomorrow.

Both matches are set to begin at 10 a.m. CT.
