Edson Ortiz and Alexey Nesterov Fall in Main Doubles Draw at USTA $15k Futures

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Juniors Edson Ortiz and Alexey Nesterov dropped their doubles match in the first round in the main draw at the USTA $15k Futures Tuesday in Birmingham, Ala.
Ortiz and Nesterov fell to No. 3 seeded Benitez Chavarriaga/Kohen, 6-3, 6-4.
In the first round of the 32-player main draw, Ortiz will compete against No. 4 seed Sam Riffice, while Roberto will play Giles Hussey. Both matches will begin on Wednesday following the matches that start at 10 a.m.
