
Alabama Women’s Golf Remains No. 1 in WGCA Coaches Poll

Crimson Tide picks up 13 of 18 first place votes to secure the top spot in his week’s rankings
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's golf team sits atop the second Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Coaches Poll of the 2018-19 season, it was announced Monday.
Alabama received 13 first-place votes and 445 total points to secure the top spot. UCLA (436), which tallied five first-place votes is second. USC is third with 410 points. Duke (387) is fourth and Virginia (359) rounds out the top five.
Four other SEC schools appear in this week's rankings – No. 6 Vanderbilt, No. 8 Florida, No. 11 Arkansas and No. 16 South Carolina, .
Alabama wraps up the fall portion of its schedule at the East Lake Cup in Atlanta, Ga., Oct. 29-31.
