Crimson Tide Hosts Bama Gymnastics Kickoff Sunday at 5 p.m. at Coleman Coliseum

The event will be held in the men’s basketball practice gym and admission is free
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – With preseason practices in full swing, the Alabama gymnastics team is holding a meet the team event this Sunday in the men's basketball practice gym at Coleman Coliseum.
The Bama Gymnastics Kickoff will get underway at 5 p.m., immediately after Crimson Tide women's basketball team's exhibition game against Faulkner.
"We're so excited to welcome everyone and have the chance for Crimson Tide fans to meet this year's team as we continue getting ready for the season," UA head coach Dana Duckworth said. "This is a new event for us this year and we know it's going to be a lot of fun. This team has shown incredible daily discipline and a commitment to the small things and their energy and effort is contagious. We want to share that spirit with everyone."
Admission is free to the event that will include food and drinks as well as giveaways and prizes. In addition to meeting this year's gymnasts and coaching staff, fans will also have the opportunity to take pictures with the iconic "BAMA" letters as well as the Circle A, that the gymnasts are introduced on prior to meets. The gymnasts will be signing autographs and Big Al will be on hand as well.
This year's team features three seniors, three juniors, five sophomores and five freshmen and is led by defending Southeastern Conference floor exercise champion Ariana Guerra and 2018 NCAA regional all-around champion Lexi Graber.
Fans will also be able to the join The Medalist Club (www.bamagymnastics.org), Alabama gymnastics' booster organization.
"This event is free to the public and made possible because of the volunteers from our Medalist Club," Duckworth said. "Thanks in advance to our Medalist Club board and members, they are difference makers for our program."
The Crimson Tide gets its season started at home on Jan. 4 in a quad meet against Southeast Missouri State, Northern Illinois and Temple. Season tickets will be on sale at the Bama Gymnastics Kickoff and are also available at the Alabama Ticket Office (205.348.2262) located in the lobby of Coleman Coliseum, and online at RollTide.com.
