Lauren Stephenson among Amateur Leaders at U.S. Women’s Open

One-over par round ties sophomore for 27th overall and first among collegiate golfers entering final round
BEDMINSTER, N.J. – Alabama's Lauren Stephenson finished at 1-over par in Saturday's third round at the 2017 U.S. Women's Open at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J.
Stephenson (72-72-73/217) is tied for 27th place overall and is also tied with Wake Forest's Jennifer Kupcho for the second-lowest score among all amateurs at this year's Open. South Korea's Hye-Jin Choi is the low amateur heading into Sunday's final round. Choi (69-69-70/208) is 8-under par and tied for second place, one shot behind overall leader Shanshan Feng of China (66-70-71/207).
Sunday's final round gets underway at 7:55 a.m. CT. Stephenson will tee off at 10:29 a.m. CT and will be paired with Australia's Katherine Kirk. Coverage of Saturday's final round begins at 1 p.m. CT on FOX.
