Alabama Tennis Announces 2017 Summer Camp Schedule

The Crimson Tide is set to host five camps, including two NIKE camps that offer day and overnight options
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's and women's tennis programs announced the 2017 summer camp schedule on Thursday. The Crimson Tide is set to host five camps, including two NIKE camps that offer day and overnight options.
Alabama men's tennis head coach George Husack and assistant coach Robbie Weiss will direct the first NIKE tennis camp session on June 4-8. The second NIKE tennis camp session, on June 11-15, will be directed by Alabama women's tennis head coach Jenny Mainz and assistant coach Shelley Godwin. Boys and girls from ages 9-18 of all ability levels are allowed to register for the camps. Camper will have a day option and an overnight option for both camp sessions.
The next session will be a High Performance Tournament Prep Camp, which is set to run from June 20-22 from 9 a.m. CT through 2 p.m. CT. There is also a Crimson Tide Junior Tennis Academy Day Camp that is offered to all ages on June 26-30 from 9 a.m. CT through Noon CT. Also running from June 26-30 there will be a Crimson Tide Junior Tennis Academy Quick Start Camp that will run from 9 a.m. CT through 11 a.m. CT.
The Crimson Tide Junior Tennis Academy clinics run throughout the academics year (September through May) and have just concluded for the month of May. The clinics will resume in September. Clinics are held Mondays and Wednesdays at the UA Varsity Tennis Stadium or the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Indoor Tennis Facility. The High Performance Clinics are open to boys and girls from the ages of 11-18 and run on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 p.m. CT through 6 p.m. CT. The Quick Start clinics are open to boys and girls from the ages of five through 10 and run on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4 p.m. CT through 5 p.m. CT.
