
Alabama Men’s 4x400-Meter Relay Squad Sprints to Fourth-Fastest Time in School History

Crimson Tide quartet posts sixth-best time in the NCAA this season at Ole Miss Classic on Saturday
OXFORD, Miss. – The Alabama men's 4x400-meter relay team of freshman Will Allen, junior Jereem Richards, sophomore Skyler Bowden and senior Steven Gayle raced to the fourth-fastest time in school history in their first outing of the season on Saturday at the Ole Miss Classic in Oxford, Miss.
The Tide foursome won the race in a time of 3:03.52, which currently ranks as the sixth-best time in the country and the fourth-best in the Southeastern Conference. Saturday's race was the final competition for the Crimson Tide prior to the 2017 Southeastern Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, May 11-13 at the University of South Carolina.
