Alabama Softball Announces 2017 Promotional Schedule

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Rhoads Stadium is one of the premiere college softball environments in the country and Alabama softball will provide the best fans in the country plenty of fun promotional opportunities throughout the 2017 season.
Youth softball teams with children ages 5-12 have a special opportunity to sign up for the Bama Buddies program and join the Crimson Tide on the field prior to a select game. Youth teams get to interact with the players and take the field with them as starting lineups are introduced and stand with them for the national anthem. Teams can register online on the softball page at rolltide.com. Under the "additional links" dropdown menu, click "Bama Buddies".
All year, UA marketing and promotions will be giving away schedule cards and team posters just inside the gates to Rhoads Stadium. On Sundays during SEC play, the team will sign postgame autographs on the concourse.
A multitude of year-long promotions will benefit fans of all ages. Midweek games this season feature the "Weekday Work Perk", where fans can drop their business card into the box at the gate and receive $1 admission. Every Sunday is "Military Sunday" where military members and one guest can receive free admission with a valid military ID. Sundays are also "Big Al's Kids Club Day", where members of Big Al's Kids Club get free admission, and "Youth Little League Day", which provides kids $1 admission when wearing their little league uniforms.
Select Saturdays throughout the season will celebrate each of the team's three seniors: Sydney Littlejohn, Marisa Runyon and Chandler Dare. Littlejohn will be the first to be honored on Saturday, Feb. 25 followed by Runyon (March 4) and Dare (March 11).
Friday, March 10 against Arkansas and Friday, April 7 against LSU are "Faculty/Staff Night", with free admission for all UA faculty/staff and $3 admission for families when using the promo code SBFAST. Young alumni can also use the promo code SBYOUNG to receive $3 admission to the Friday game against Arkansas.
The home series against South Carolina on March 24-26 is Academic Achievement Weekend". Friday, April 7 against LSU will be the team's annual "Bama Salute Night", where military members can get free admission along with $3 admission for family members when using the promo code SBSALUTE. Saturday's game is "Fire Marshal Night" and the goal is to pack in a capacity crowd and get the fire marshal to close the gates! Sunday's game against the Tigers is "Heroes Day", where all first responders will receive free admission with the online promo code "SBHERO" and $3 admission for additional family members.
Saturday, April 22 against Washington is the team's annual Power of Pink game, which raises funds and awareness in the fight for breast cancer research. Wear a pink shirt for $1 admission with "Power of Pink" t-shirts and shakers to be given away at the game.
In the final home series of the regular season against Auburn, Friday's game features an inflatable bat giveaway and a pair of online ticket discount codes for chamber of commerce members (SBCHAMBER) and paramedics (SBPARA). Saturday's game is a "Crimson Out" so make sure to wear your Crimson! Fans will receive a free crimson shirt.
