Alabama Gymnastics’ Crimson & White Preview Brings Fans to Their Feet

The fans braved frigid conditions to heat up Coleman Coliseum
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – On a wintry, snowy night in Tuscaloosa, 500 fans braved the elements to take part in Alabama gymnastics' Crimson & White Preview Friday night in Coleman Coliseum.
All 15 members of the Crimson Tide's 2018 squad took part in the event that was part exhibition, part pep rally and part "Gymnastics 101." The fans heard from fourth-year head coach Dana Duckworth along with the Tide gymnasts, while also getting a sneak peek at this year's routines. This was especially true on the floor exercise, with virtually every routine being new this season.
The Tide gymnasts follow tonight's event with final exams next week and then a training camp before breaking for the holidays. Alabama opens the season on Jan. 5 at Michigan before returning to Tuscaloosa for a Jan. 12 showdown against Southeastern Conference rival Georgia.
