Alabama Gymnastics Ranked Fourth in Preseason Coaches’ Poll

The Crimson Tide is one of three Southeastern Conference teams in the top five and one of eight in the top 20
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama gymnastics team, which opens the season on Friday, January 5 at Michigan, is ranked No. 4 in the preseason coaches' poll.
Alabama will face five members of the preseason top 10, including No. 1 Oklahoma and No. 10 Kentucky at home in Coleman Coliseum and No. 2 Florida, No. 3 LSU and No. 7 Michigan on the road. Overall, the Crimson Tide will face nine teams in the top 20, including No. 14 Auburn, No. 16 Georgia, No. 17 Missouri and No. 19 Arkansas, giving Alabama one of the nation's toughest schedules again this season.
The Crimson Tide comes into 2018 as the only program to finish in the NCAA Super Six each of the last 10 seasons, including back-to-back NCAA championships in 2011 and 2012.
