Five of the Crimson Tide’s regular-season meets will air live on the SEC Network, while another will be aired on ESPNU on a taped delay basis
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced the 2018 gymnastics television slate Thursday, with Alabama figured prominently on the schedule.
A total of five of the Crimson Tide's regular-season meets will air live on the SEC Network, with another airing on ESPN on a taped delay basis. All six of the Crimson Tide's regular-season home meets will also be streamed online live on SEC Network+.
"We are so excited for another season of 'Friday Night Heights' on the SEC Network and to again be featured on ESPN's family of networks," UA head coach Dana Duckworth said. "The exposure that the Southeastern Conference provides is second to none and allows our fans around the world to keep up with our amazing gymnasts. While there is nothing like being in Coleman Coliseum on an Alabama gymnastics Friday night, the job the SEC Network does in highlighting our teams is fantastic!"
The Crimson Tide's home meets against Georgia (1/12) and Kentucky (2/16) along with its road meets at LSU (1/19), Florida (2/9) and Auburn (2/22) will air live on the SEC Network. The Georgia, Kentucky, LSU and Auburn meets will get underway at 7:30 p.m. CT while the meet at Florida will begin at 6 p.m. CT.
Alabama's home meet against Missouri (1/26) will be streamed live on SEC Network+ and will air on a taped delay basis on ESPNU Sunday, Jan. 28 at 9 p.m. CT. In addition to airing live on the SEC Network, Alabama's meet at Florida will re-air on ESPN2 Sunday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. CT.

Both sessions of the Southeastern Conference Championships (3/24), which will be held in St. Louis will also be broadcast live again this season.
