Alabama Men’s Tennis Alexey Nesterov Advances in USTA $15k Futures on Sunday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama men's tennis' sophomore Alexey Nesterov took care of Daniel Del Val Del Toro of Spain in straight sets, 6-1, 6-0 in Birmingham, Ala., on Sunday.

Nesterov will advance to one of the semifinal rounds in the qualifying draw and play against Luis Federico Nani of Argentina not before 11 a.m. on Monday.

Sophomore No. 72 Thibault Cancel is scheduled to play a qualifier in the Main Draw of the tournament on Tuesday.
