Alabama Women’s Tennis Reveals 2017 Promotional Schedule

The Crimson Tide releases promotional schedule for 11 home matches this season
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Earlier today, Alabama women's tennis officially released the promotional schedule for 11 home matches during the 2017 campaign. Once again, admission is free to all of Alabama's home matches this season.
The Tide officially opens the 2017 season with a double-header on Sunday, Jan. 15, against in-state foes UAB and Alabama State at 10 a.m. CT and 4 p.m. CT, respectively, at the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis Facility.
The Tide has a tough home schedule this year, as it will host four teams that are nationally ranked in the top-25 preseason poll. The Tide will play the first of those four matches against No. 6 Georgia on Friday, March 10 at 6 p.m. Alabama will battle No. 20 Kentucky on Friday, March 24 at 6 p.m. in this year's Power of Pink match, before taking on No. 9 Vanderbilt on Sunday, March 26 at 1 p.m. to close out the month of March. The Tide will conclude hosting top-25 ranked opponents on Friday, April 7, when it hosts rival No. 15 Auburn at 6 p.m.

Free JACK's Breakfast Biscuits will be available for Alabama fans during the 10 a.m. CT match against UAB.

Bama Salute/Tuscaloosa Tennis Association Night
A celebration to recognize those who have served, and those who are currently serving to protect our country. We will also recognize those who are in the Tuscaloosa Tennis Association during the match as well.

Saturday, January 21 vs. Washington – 3 p.m.
Give a T-Shirt/Get a T-Shirt
Alabama fans will receive a Crimson Tide tennis shirt if they donate a shirt of their own to help Big Brother Big Sisters Tuscaloosa. Taco Mama will be available for Alabama fans to eat, and fans who attend will receive double CTR points.

Friday, March 10 vs. Georgia – 6 p.m.
Kids Day
Free pizza will be available to kids 12 years old and under, and there will also be an inflatable bounce house present during the match.

National Girl Scout Day
In honor of National Girl Scout Day, the Tide will be giving away free Girl Scout cookies to fans.

Power of Pink Match/International Night
The match will mark this year's Power of Pink match, where cancer survivors will be recognized before the match. It's also international night, and we will recognize those on the Alabama roster from overseas. Fans will have the opportunity to receive double CTR points from attending the Friday night match.

Recreation Day
Alabama Rec players will be available to play for 30 minutes after the match on the tennis courts.

Crimson Lets Cram the Complex
Fans are encouraged to come show support against in-state rival and SEC foe Auburn. Taco Mama will be provided for Alabama fans.

Fan Appreciation Day
Friday night's match is this year's Fan Appreciation Day, where the Tide will show thanks for this year's support by talking with fans after the match.

Senior Day/Family Weekend
The Crimson Tide women's tennis team would like to invite fans to celebrate the 2017 season and say their goodbyes to the senior class. With it being Family Weekend, families are encouraged to come support Alabama in its last home match of the season. The Million Dollar Band will also be in attendance.
